Wheat
Indian export quality wheat encompasses several varieties such as Sharbati, Lokwan, Durum, and HD-2967, each meeting specific standards. These standards typically include a protein content ranging from 10% to 12%, gluten strength suitable for flour production, moisture content below 12%, foreign matter limited to less than 2%, and packaging usually in polypropylene bags of 25 kg or 50 kg. In terms of container loading, around 20 to 25 metric tons can be accommodated in a 20-foot container, depending on packaging size and density. These specifications ensure that Indian wheat meets the quality requirements for international markets, catering to various applications including milling and food processing.
