Garlic
Indian garlic for export primarily consists of two varieties: bold and normal white. Bulbs are sized between 5-6 centimeters in diameter, with weights ranging from 30 to 60 grams each. To maintain freshness, they are stored and transported at temperatures between 0 to 4 degrees Celsius. Packing is usually done in 5 kg to 50 kg mesh bags or cartons to allow ventilation and prevent moisture buildup, ensuring quality. The weight of the packing box varies based on quantity and packaging material, typically ranging from 5 to 20 kilograms.
